Story of origin

It is alleviating the pressure on the healthcare system at a time when the country is in dire need of a dedicated Covid-19 hospital. With the cooperation of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, and Dhaka North City Corporation an extensive program was taken place to convert a market into a Dedicated Covid-19 Hospital.

Our capabilities

With 1,000 beds for serving coronavirus-infected people, we are the largest Covid-19 hospital in Bangladesh right now. Of the 1,000 beds, 500 general bed with oxygen support, while the other 212 beds have been installed as ICUs and 288 beds are HDUs.

Over the last few months, the staff and physicians of DNCC dedicated Covid-19 Hospital (DDCH) proved that in times of crisis they will be resourceful, relent, and focused on our commitment.

Facilities

We constantly invest in high-end equipment

At DNCC Dedicated Covid-19 Hospital, we have 212 ICU Beds, 288 HDU Beds, 500 General Beds. Also, we have the latest Pathology Lab, Radiology Imaging, RT PCR, and much more Covid-19 related tests carried out with the help of high-end technology and the most qualified professional.

In our hospital we have a Central oxygen supply system, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), also Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) services provided to all patients at the ICUs, we have mechanisms for ventilation in severe cases as well. Triage is located on the ground floor, while pathology, x-ray, and CT scan facilities are on the first floor.

A large number of healthcare professionals and administrative staff have been assigned for uninterrupted service at this hospital, including 60 doctors, 60 nurses, 157 other staff, and 30 army personnel.
